It's my birthday today. I saw Molly and ate cake. Molly is a dog but she's much more than that. She's an obese flopping grinning fool who always greets me warmly. Shakes her butt in a friendly way. Cute.

I'm a scary pilot for my plane. Hardly any experience and always changing course.

That was a really weird thing to say.

I'm sick. Allergies. Always allergies.
I'm allergic to things natural to earth and beauty. Flowers, trees, folliage of any kind.

I like things right now. I like the face smashed into the pillow downstairs. I like this house and my school and prospects. Contented.

Except for a nagging desire to know my Mother was uncomfortable. Not in general, exactly. Just uncomfortable with the choices she made. I wish she were sane. Perhaps I'll blow out my birthday candles with that one.

I turn 23 on Tuesday. I intend to start lying about my age early. So, I'll really be turning 20 this year.

Does Eric want to blow up fire works at Zane's Dad's house this year? He is invited.

Don't go to Paris unless you speak French. They really resent that sort of thing there.
If you want to piss off the French do go to Paris and refuse to speak French.

Today I'm in Holland.

Everyone rides bikes wherever they go. Old ladies, little kids. 20 bikes parked outside of shops on cobblestone roads.

Had a belgian waffle in Belgium yesterday. Their gas stations are stuffed with waffles. I thought I was in France, so I asked why in th world the french were so obsessed with waffles. They aren't so much. Corrected by sympathetic dutch boys who don't know american geography, so it's okay.

More to be said about holland later.

Writing from an internet cafe in England.
No, I don't actually have anything to say.
Well, I could say a thousand things if I felt like speaking.
But presently I only write because I'm in an internet cafe in England.
I will only say

European building construction is bizarre
Soda bottles are more slender as compared to america, as such with body types
There are no fat people here. None. I never see any. Try that at Walmart.
I have a cold.
It isn't foggy.
Someone said cheers to me already.
Bayswater is exactly the same as I left it.
Those tourist-loved red telephone booths house a secret you only discover upon entering one. They smell like urine and advertise for local sex industries of varying vices. Well kept secret.

I love England. I will shop for grad school here.

I wanted a new livejournal for the new year. I'm a new girl. I wanted my livejournal to match. Still, Livejournal decided to have a broken creation page. So, instead, I've just redone my old one. Like putting a new suit on an old man. It's dedicated after the book I'm reading called Confederacy of Dunces. It's a most excellent book.

Well, I guess I'll stop being depressed and dramatic now. My thanks to Caily and Zane for caring.

I've had crappier New Years's but this is getting ridiculous. I remember I brought in the new millenium wearing backless shirts and talking to Elizabeth and Joey. It was a crazy night. Yeah.

So, my resolution is to write more. What's yours?
